How the daily budget works
The formula is 30,000 tokens times your plan multiplier times the number of seats, plus any top-ups (rate limiting docs). Lite multiplies by 1, Growth by 2, Premium by 5 and Ultimate by 7. Each top-up adds 250,000 tokens, up to 10, and Pipedrive caps the total at 100 million per company. The budget belongs to the company, so a token your AI spends is a token your web forms can't use.
It resets once a day. On a US-hosted account we measured the reset at 07:00 UTC on October 16, 2026; after the US clock change on November 1 it may be 08:00 UTC. More in why Claude used up your Pipedrive API tokens.

We measured costs by reading the x-daily-ratelimit-token-remaining header. It updates one call late, so each cost comes from the call after it. The search cost is from Pipedrive's documentation; we haven't measured it.
How to make a big job fit
- Find records with one filtered list instead of one search per record.
- Start right after the reset, so a mistake doesn't block your forms for the rest of the day.
- Split big merges and edits across days, as the calculator suggests.
- Export the records first. Pipedrive can't undo merges or one-by-one API edits.

How many API tokens does Pipedrive give per day?
30,000 tokens times your plan multiplier (Lite 1, Growth 2, Premium 5, Ultimate 7) times the number of seats, plus 250,000 for each top-up you buy, capped at 100 million per company. The whole company shares it, including every integration.
What happens when the daily budget runs out?
Every API request fails with 429 Too Many Requests until the reset. That includes your web forms, syncs and other integrations, not only the AI job that used the budget.
When does the Pipedrive API budget reset?
Pipedrive's docs say midnight in the server's timezone. On a US-hosted account we measured 07:00 UTC on October 16, 2026, midnight US Pacific daylight time. After the US clock change on November 1 it may be 08:00 UTC.
Why does an AI use so many more tokens than a script?
Most AI connectors find each record with a search, read it and then update it, one record at a time. A search costs about 40 tokens per Pipedrive docs, so an update that costs 5 tokens on its own ends up near 46. Listing records in pages of 500 and updating from that list is far cheaper.
Does this calculator send my numbers anywhere?
