Tomas Esposito · Founder of Pipehand

I built an AI that sells. Now I'm building a way for your AI to run Pipedrive, safely.

VICI, my WhatsApp sales agent, was acquired by Tiendanube in 2024. Pipehand will let Claude, ChatGPT or any AI agent merge, bulk edit and clean up Pipedrive, with your OK before risky changes and an undo after each one.

I grew up in Chascomús, a town of 40,000 people in Argentina, the kind of place most tech products never reach. That's where Agustín Parraquini and I started VICI in 2021, while we were still in college: a delivery marketplace for the small cities that Rappi and PedidosYa didn't cover. In two years it ran in more than 30 cities with over 500 merchants.

Then we rebuilt it as an AI agent that answers customers and closes sales over WhatsApp, using each store's catalog, stock and order history. Tiendanube, one of the largest e-commerce platforms in Latin America, acquired VICI in August 2024. Since then I've led Nuvem Chat, the product built from VICI, which handled more than a million conversations in its first three months.

Putting AI in front of real customers taught me that intelligence isn't what makes people trust an agent. A business lets an agent act when it can see what the agent will do and fix any mistake fast. Without that, even a great agent stays switched off.

The same thing is now happening with CRMs. Teams are connecting Claude and ChatGPT to Pipedrive, and the official connector edits one record at a time, with no way back. Ask it to merge duplicates or fix a thousand phone numbers and you are either stuck or one bad prompt away from damage you can't undo. That's why I'm building Pipehand.

I'm a product founder, not an engineer. I build Pipehand with AI coding agents, under the same rules it will give you: nothing reaches production without a review and a way back. The guides on this site are made the same way. Agents gather Pipedrive's documentation and my sandbox results, another drafts, a third checks every claim against its source, and I review the result.

Where things stand: Pipehand isn't live yet, has no paying customers, and I'm building it alone. Founding members get early access from January 2027. If you find something wrong or out of date in a guide, write to me on LinkedIn or X and I'll fix it.

What I found testing Pipedrive

Before promising you anything, I tested where Pipedrive breaks, in a sandbox account with real-looking data.

  • Pipedrive's finder caught 1 duplicate pair of 14

Its Merge duplicates tool found one pair where our own scan found 14, four of them deals. It never checks deals or leads.

  • A deal merge left no trace in its history

After merging two deals by hand, the surviving deal's history showed no merge. The value and owner that were lost appear nowhere.

  • A regular user can restore what an admin deleted

A user with default permissions couldn't delete a deal, but could open Restore data and bring back records an admin had deleted.

  • An AI's one-by-one edits have no native undo

Edits made through the API one record at a time never show up in Restore data. Only bulk edits get a revert button.

What Pipehand will do

  1. Do what the official connector can't

Your AI will merge duplicates, bulk edit and clean up Pipedrive, from Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, Cursor or any MCP agent.

  2. Wait for your OK on risky changes

Merges and other risky changes will show what they will do and wait for your approval.

  3. Undo every change

Every change will have an undo, backed by a copy of each record taken first. On Growth and above, that includes merges someone made by hand in Pipedrive.
