How to connect Pipedrive to Gemini

Not with an official connector: Pipedrive doesn't publish one for Gemini, and Gemini's built-in connectors, added in September 2026, include HubSpot and Salesforce but not Pipedrive. What you can try is adding Pipedrive's own MCP server, https://mcp.pipedrive.ai/mcp, as a custom app. In the Gemini app that only works on a personal Google account, in the US, in English. On a work account, a Gemini Enterprise admin has to add it. We haven't tested either path with Pipedrive (checked October 30, 2026). If you need it working today, Claude and ChatGPT are the documented routes.

What you need before you start

• Pipedrive: any plan. The MCP is included at no extra cost. You need permission to install apps in your Pipedrive company, and an admin can switch MCP access off for the whole company in Company settings (Pipedrive's product updates, September 2026). If sign-in is refused, check that first.
• Google, for option 1: a personal Google Account (not work or school), age 18 or over, located in the US, Gemini in English, and Keep Activity turned on. Google says custom apps "are unavailable when this setting is off." Its help page lists no paid plan for custom apps.
• Google, for option 2: a Gemini Enterprise subscription and an admin willing to set it up.

Option 1: add Pipedrive to the Gemini app (personal accounts)

These steps follow Google's Connect & manage custom apps. You can only add the app on the web; after that it also shows up in the Gemini mobile app.

1. Open Connected Apps. Go to gemini.google.com on a computer, click Settings, then Connected Apps. If you don't see it, click Personal Intelligence first.

2. Add a custom app. Under Custom apps, click Add a custom app.

3. Paste the server URL. Enter https://mcp.pipedrive.ai/mcp and click Next.

4. Sign in to Pipedrive and approve. Gemini sends you to Pipedrive. Pick your company, read the permissions and click Allow and install.

5. Use it in a chat. Type @, pick the Pipedrive app and ask a read-only question first: "List my open deals worth more than 10,000 with no activity in the last 14 days." Compare the answer with the same filter in Pipedrive.

If step 4 fails. Pipedrive only accepts sign-in from addresses it has approved. Between October 15 and 28, 2026, at least seven MCP client vendors asked Pipedrive on its developer community to add theirs (for example, Blueticks). We don't know whether Gemini is on Pipedrive's list. An "invalid redirect URI" error means it isn't, and only Pipedrive can fix that.

To remove it, go back to Settings > Connected Apps and unlink Pipedrive. Google says unlinking stops Gemini from using it but keeps it in your list.

Option 2: Gemini Enterprise (work accounts)

Gemini Enterprise can add a custom MCP server for a whole team, but it takes an admin and some setup:

• On Gemini Enterprise Business, a team admin goes to Settings & help > Manage team > Connected apps > Add MCP Server. Google marks the feature pre-GA (setup guide, updated September 15, 2026).
• On Standard, Plus and the other editions, it's set up in the Google Cloud console as a "Custom MCP Server" data store (documentation, updated October 30, 2026).
• Both ask for an OAuth Client ID and Client Secret registered in advance. Neither page mentions automatic client registration.

That last point is the blocker. Pipedrive doesn't publish a client ID for its MCP server, and we haven't confirmed that one from your own Pipedrive app would be accepted. Treat it as a project for your IT team.

Option 3: Zapier or Make

If what you want is "when a deal moves to Won, have Gemini draft a summary and save it as a note", you don't need MCP. Zapier and Make both connect Pipedrive with Gemini as steps in an automation. It runs on a trigger, not in a chat.

What you can and can't do

If the custom app connects, Gemini gets the same 51 tools as Claude and ChatGPT (full list): read, search, create and update deals, people, organizations, leads, products, activities and notes one record at a time, plus linked emails and projects. It sees only what your Pipedrive user can see, and every change lands in Pipedrive's change log.

Google adds one safeguard: "Gemini requires manual confirmation for any write actions." Read each confirmation; it is the moment to catch the wrong record.

It can't delete, merge duplicates, bulk edit, undo a change, manage pipelines or custom fields, or send email.

Costs and limits

The MCP costs nothing extra on any Pipedrive plan; Pipedrive says usage "is subject to token limits based on your plan" but doesn't say whether that's the same daily API budget your other integrations share. If it is, long loops of searches spend it, and requests fail until the reset, which we measured at 07:00 UTC on a US-hosted sandbox account on October 16, 2026 (it may move to 08:00 UTC after November 1). What can go wrong

• A big request becomes many separate changes. "Set the region on these 40 companies" is 40 or more calls. If it stops halfway, some records change and some don't, and nothing tells you which.
• The wrong record gets matched. "Acme" and "Acme Ltd" look alike to a search. Ask Gemini to list matches with their owners before it changes anything.
• No undo. Pipedrive's Restore data has nothing for a one-at-a-time edit; you find the old value in the change log and type it back.

Before you let Gemini write

• Ask only read-only questions for your first week.
• Keep each request to 20 records or fewer and check them in Pipedrive.
• Export the affected list from Pipedrive before a larger change, so you have the old values.

What we couldn't verify

• Whether Pipedrive accepts Gemini's sign-in. We read Pipedrive's public OAuth metadata but didn't connect an account.
• Whether Gemini Enterprise works with mcp.pipedrive.ai and a client ID from your own Pipedrive app.
• When Google will open custom apps outside the US, in other languages or for work accounts.

Is there a Pipedrive integration for Gemini?

Not an official one. Pipedrive has no Gemini guide and isn't among Gemini's built-in connectors. You can add Pipedrive's MCP server as a custom app on a personal US Google account, or through Gemini Enterprise on a work account.

Can I connect Pipedrive to Gemini on Google Workspace?

Not in the Gemini app: custom apps aren't available on work or school accounts as of October 30, 2026. A Gemini Enterprise admin can add a custom MCP server, but it needs an OAuth client set up in advance.

Does Gemini need a paid plan to use Pipedrive?

Gemini API, Gemini CLI and Antigravity

• Server metadata (read October 30, 2026): https://mcp.pipedrive.ai/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource names https://oauth.pipedrive.com as authorization server, which advertises dynamic client registration, PKCE and client_secret_basic or client_secret_post at the token endpoint.
• Gemini API: since July 7, 2026, managed agents in the Interactions API can call remote MCP servers (Google). The post doesn't cover OAuth; plan to obtain a Pipedrive token yourself.
• Gemini CLI: gemini mcp add --transport http pipedrive https://mcp.pipedrive.ai/mcp, then /mcp auth pipedrive. It signs in through http://localhost:<random-port>/oauth/callback by default, which Pipedrive's allowlist may reject. Untested. Since June 18, 2026, Google AI Pro, Ultra and free users have moved to Antigravity CLI; Gemini CLI keeps working with Code Assist Standard or Enterprise licenses and paid API keys (Google).
